With The Bear still going strong on streaming, we wondered whether Carmy’s eye-catching chicken recipe could really be the dinner item that helped keep the restaurant afloat. Generally in Italy, you’d order a “piccata di vitello al limone” for a light pan-fried veal cutlet in lemon sauce. The dish is a “secondo” course, which means it’s the meat/fish dish served after the pasta course

Hartnett, a protegee of Gordon Ramsay, has released her first cookbook in the US with more than 100 recipes — all geared toward hosting at home. “The Weekend Cook: Good Food for Real Life” hit shelves Tuesday (Bloomsbury Absolute, 288 pp).

The book includes recipes meant for gathering with friends and family inspired by Hartnett’s own community and is meant to help readers share meals with their own loved ones.

Stanley Tucci, actor and author of multiple cookbooks himself, says the book is “everything one wants in a cookbook,” according to a press release.
