We followed the recipe exactly for my Aunty and Uncle and ourselves, however had to get artistic with the dish for my mother and father. We wrapped the roast and mushroom layer in one other layer of parma ham instead of puff pastry after which wrapped the whole thing in baking paper, which we tied tightly with oven secure string. This allowed the meat, flavours and mushroom layer to prepare dinner beautifully, similtaneously the normal Wellingtons, whereas protecting in all the juices and flavours, with out burning the ham layer (and retaining it completely carb free 😀 ).
